The Fox 12 ft Avon Quiver is a high-quality sought-after twin tip rod, long since discontinued. Code number RD3387. This rod, plus its quiver tips, is in mint condition.
It has two top sections, like the famous John Wilson Avon Quiver did, but arguably a much better rod. It has a straight ‘Avon’ style top half that can be used for a lot of float fishing, as well as legering.
Plus a quiver top section which takes Fox (and probably other) interchangeable quiver tips.
This rod is being sold, complete with all three sensitive Fox glass tips (1 oz, 1.5 oz, 2 oz) in carrier tube.
Fuji fittings, bottle green slim carbon blank and cork/beige duplon handle.
Ideal as an all-round rod for lighter specialist fishing applications. Suitable for so much from float fishing on lakes for summer tench to shy-biting winter chub on rivers.
It is in fantastic condition. To be ultra picky the only flaw in this package is a tiny hole in the original green cloth bag (see final photo).
